Still here...X

That last blog was a pinch of dark, wasn't it? Unavoidable, I suppose. So, let's try and do some lighter stuff.

I've no idea what yet. I never have had much of a clue what words would come next when writing these - seems to work.

Nice things 😳🤣😉🤗

People! 😍

Seems a good place to start. I love people. People are awesome. Honestly, people are brilliant. Obviously, some are complete twats on a stick, but I think for the purposes of this bit of scribbling, we'll filter them out...mostly. 😉

You! Yes, you there reading this! You're amazing! And, more importantly, not a twat on a stick. I mean, if you're reading this, it's likely we know each other quite well via some fortunate event in our lives that caused us to meet and then stay in touch, you're amazing. I would have filtered you out by now were you not, and let's say...a bit of a twat on a stick.

People fascinate me. Especially when one is out and about and you accidentally slip into "people watching" mode. I (and no doubt you) will end up staring and studying people. I've found that I've done this most when out for a night with Rebecca; we do this without knowing the other is also doing it at first, but then compare notes. 🤣
I've often created full background stories for them and generated behaviour types and what they'll do next and, especially if it's out on the drink, their next move on some unsuspecting female or male. Or, a brewing domestic - always good free entertainment when out.

That aside, the vast majority of people are amazing, kind, generous and honest. I've (sadly, but I'm being honest) judged loads of people in the past in a negative light for very little reason. Almost every time I've been proved wrong and they've been cracking people. I'm hoping we all do it (if you're honest). It can't just be me being a dick. Some of you must have pre-judged someone really early and then realised, they're not so bad, really.......anyone? C'mon man, you have? Anyone?

Cheesecake!
Love it. I think my love it came from how rare it was to get it at primary and secondary school. I remember seeing it as an option amongst a throng of others and shuffling further along the queue of (hopefully jelly fans) peers. It was probably the cheapest kind, too.
The frozen Sara-Lee ones are a particular treat.
Now, I've also had some truly stunning cheesecakes that have cost a lot more than they should, but totally worth it - looking at you Angus Deli on Church St.

Fruit in jelly!

Those little pots of jelly with fruit in. Dead simple and doesn't need any more of my waffle just that they are lush and you don't get sick of them - I've tried. 😋

Mince and dumplings.
Mince and mash.
Mince and...pretty much anything.
Oh, and hoy mushy peas in the mix and I'm equally happy.

Eyes!

I love eyes. As weird as that sounds, I do.
Beyond the insane depth that eyes seem to have, I've always struggled holding eye-contact with most people and would look elsewhere when talking to them. I do this less nowadays and imagine it's part of aging/maturing as an adult. The power of eyes to make me avert mine is mad, innit?
The beauty of eyes is the really important bit. If you look into someone's eyes and keep looking, it's like another world; 🌎 mountainous ⛰️ ridges feeding up to a black hole ⚫️.
Stunning.
My daughter has the most beautiful eyes, like mine apparently.  😊
Meeting Rebecca all those years ago and desperately trying to hold eye-contact was a nightmare. I must have managed it though - she married me. 🤣😊
Or took pity on me. 🤔😁
Stunning eyes. Eyes you lose yourself in, and allow yourself to explore and the things you see aren't always the visual. You see the woman, the girl, the character, the fears, the attraction, the glints of magic, and the immense love. Eyes give us this and so much more. Have a look.
Seriously, try it with your significant other or someone you trust. It'll feel weird at first, but explore the eyes of someone. Tis amazing.

Right, I havent managed to waffle about as many nice things as I would have liked to, but I must bring this to an end. Loads of things have happened and I should probably whack it all in blog 11 before I forget.

Remember....

Eyes are little windows where you get to peek at the real person.

Gravy and cheese do not go together, yer filthy animals.

The Tories are and will always be self-interested shitbags!

Stay golden. I know you will. 😊🥰
